Weddings & Festivals
September 11th, 2012

At our farm on August 25th we celebrated the marriage of our daughter Amy to Mr. Keith Kenyon. Over 200 people were part of this marvelous event which could not have possibly been predicted when we started our farm in 2008. Months of hard work in preparation for the wedding culminated in a most joyous occasion for us all. We congratulate both Keith and Amy on their wedding and wish for them a lifetime of health, joy and happiness!

More on the wedding later but with it behind us we focus on the garlic business ….

We’ve just returned from a very successful 17th Annual Southern Vermont Garlic and Herb Festival in Bennington, Vermont. We would like to thank all of those folks who stopped by the booth and took samples or purchased our products. Your overwhelming support of our small family farm inspires us to continue to grow the best garlic we can and to produce what lots of folks tell us is the best tasting gourmet garlic powder they have ever had.

We are now preparing to attend the Canterbury Artisan Festival to be held at Canterbury Shaker Village in Canterbury, New Hampshire on September 15-16. We hope to see many of you at this festival so please stop by the booth and introduce yourself and take a sample of our gourmet garlic powder!

On September 29-30 we will be attending the Hudson Valley Garlic Festival in Saugerties, New York. This is the second largest garlic festival in the country and there’s always lots of things to do and it’s one of our favorite events to attend all year long. Last year we sold out of our products so please stop by the booth early on so you won’t be disappointed!

Finally, for all of those folks who have contacted us about ordering our garlic powder we will start shipping very shortly. It has been a very busy summer for us with the wedding but we have been gearing up our garlic powder production and are in full swing now.

As always, if you are in the area please let us know if you wish to stop by the farm; we’re always glad to meet new folks and show you what it is we are up to!

Take care,

The Garlic Guy
